There's a lot to love about Lundberg's rice cakes, from their light and very crispy texture, to the simple, not-full-of-junk ingredient list and the gluten free certification for those of us who need it. They have just the right flavor balance that can stand on its own, but can also handle toppings. The Kettle Corn variety comes in 3rd for me, behind the Honey Nut and Cinnamon Toast. That's just because I'm not a huge kettle corn fan, but I think they do the flavor justice. They're nice as a snack with coffee or to add a sweet accompaniment to breakfast (without adding a ton of sugar).
I like these a bit too much! I sometimes eat several at a time, they are so balanced in tasty sweetness and crunch. They are organic and gluten-free which I require of my snacks these days. The only thing I don't care for is the packaging, even though they have sold rice cakes like this for years. I wish they came in a bag and were bite-sized. Other than that, these are GREAT!
I have been looking for something that I could use as a snack perhaps in the evenings and I had never tried these before. I have used a lot of Lundberg's products which are always incredibly good. I have never been disappointed in any of them. But I have to say these stackers were absolutely a surprise. They were so good. I immediately have put more in my basket.
If you like savory and sweet, this might be the right snack. It doesn't exactly have that kettle popcorn aroma and flavor but for what it is, it's worth checking out. There is a layer of what looks like sugar and salt on top, a bit sticky. Happy they arrived packaged nicely on top of the box. Not much damage.
