I have been using this product literally for years since maybe 2002. It has helped me with issues with candida and also helps digestion. It once even protected me from food poisoning that the other two people got when she shared the same food. Amazing! I do occasionally use another one so my body does not get too used to this, but always come back to this one.
I do believe that probiotics are lacking in my regular diet as I don't often eat fermented vegetables. So I use this to replenish my friendly bacteria. Whenever I eat something that doesn't feel right, if it's not a digestive issue, I would take 2 caps of this.
My husband and I both really love Garden of Life. We have been taking their supplements since 2004 which is also the year that my husband got the book Patient Heal Thyself by Jordan Rubin (he's also founder of Garden of Life). He brought home a free copy from the health food store, LifeThyme Market. This probiotic is great. It has homeostatic soil organisms .
This product is really good. Beware the Primal Defense RAW variant as it is complete garbage. The main difference is that the original (blue) Primal Defense HSO contains boulardii and the RAW variant does not. Boulardii's the secret to gut success. The only tragic thing about this product is the price. It was high 20 years ago and has been rising much faster than inflation. Garden of Life is going to lose a lot of customers if they can't reign in their prices. Due to the price, I'm giving it 4 out of 5 instead of 5 out of 5 since I can buy boulardii elsewhere.
Great product, contains B.subtilis of course and a number of milk-based bacteria together with some greens. I tried making yoghurt with it once and it didn't work, it produced a thick piece of tasty cheese at the top of the whey. Will continue to buy this probiotic.
Had to go back to this after some time off. The health benefits are unquestionable, especially for seniors. And the capsules make it easy to swallow. Better than pills. Take first thing in the morning for best results!!
amazing, fantastic, most awesome stuff for gut problems, just sorts it out in no time !!!! and getting rid of viruses and bugs if taken at first onset with 3 or 4 caplets and vitamin C always works well with it for colds etc
This is my go to Probiotic for gut health. I have been using this for a few years and have no issues with my gut.
I take this every morning and I am grateful to be able to able to take it. I have grown up with gut issues and they are slowly getting better.
It has been so perfect in improving the health of my digestive system, the taste is good and the quality of the supplement is excellent as usual !
